Back packing across Europe has always appealed to me as well.
While I was "getting around" I was backpacking, from England in a big loop to all those other places then back to England. Me and my sister, two hiking packs and some cash. Read More...

Yeah I get around. Read More...

Don't make other people suffer for mistakes that someone in your past made, but also, don't jump into everything blindly. Listen to what people say, and watch what they do. Take in the entire situation. Don't try to make someone fit an image you want them to, take them for who they are.
Getting back out into the world shouldn't mean the first person you meet that makes you feel special is someone you should dive head first into. Getting back out there is one thing, but searching avidly for a partner is another. Take it slow, don't put too much hope into anything.
Go out, do things you want to do. Enjoy yourself, your friends, and the company of strangers. Then when you find someone who likes the things you do, enjoys the things you do, you enjoy being around them, and you can SEE who they are. Go for it, and if it doesn't work out, then fuck it move on to the next project, the next experience, chalk it all up to just being free to do as you wish. If you just stepped out of a long relationship, then right now should be the time you focus on yourself, find out what you really want, what kind of person you want, and don't ever settle for less than the best that you deserve. Don't look for instant gratification because if its worth it, it will take time to develop.
I personally don't trust anyone, I don't actually like anyone. I hate people, but that doesn't mean I am going to blow someone off who interests me, I give people a chance, and then I wait for them to fuck it up. Read More...

Once you say the word, its already lost meaning, because then you feel you need to say it over and over and over. Once the word is on the table its meaningless. Prepare yourself for a routine relationship. Why not stop thinking about when to say it, and think of how to show it. Just be loving, and be loved. Fuck the words, they're overused and turn to shit once they're spoken. I don't want to hear anything, show me.
I think Audrey said it best in the movie my fair lady. Heres the lyrics if you don't know.
Words!
Words! Words! I'm so sick of words!
I get words all day through;
First from him, now from you! Is that all you blighters can do?
Don't talk of stars Burning above; If you're in love,
Show me! Tell me no dreams
Filled with desire. If you're on fire,
Show me! Here we are together in the middle of the night!
Don't talk of spring! Just hold me tight!
Anyone who's ever been in love'll tell you that
This is no time for a chat! Haven't your lips
Longed for my touch? Don't say how much,
Show me! Show me! Don't talk of love lasting through time.
Make me no undying vow. Show me now!
Sing me no song! Read me no rhyme!
Don't waste my time, Show me!
Don't talk of June, Don't talk of fall!
Don't talk at all! Show me!
Never do I ever want to hear another word.
There isn't one I haven't heard.
Here we are together in what ought to be a dream;
Say one more word and I'll scream!
Haven't your arms Hungered for mine?
Please don't "expl'ine," Show me! Show me!
Don't wait until wrinkles and lines
Pop out all over my brow,
Show me now! Read More...
This is just a shitty way of thinking.
If that person doesn't "give you the time of day" then they don't deserve any of your time. If you're so completely awesome like you think you are, then you don't need some self absorbed prick to justify that. If they don't want to talk to you, move along and find someone who's worth your time, and your awesome. Read More...

There are no more barriers to cross. All I have in common with the uncontrollable and the insane, the vicious and the evil, all the mayhem I have caused and my utter indifference toward it I have now surpassed.
